This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional with union and New York payroll experience who enjoys owning the process and making an immediate impact.
### What You'll Do
Process weekly and biweekly payroll accurately and on time Manage union payroll, rates, deductions, and contract requirements Handle new hires, terminations, employee changes, and garnishments Reconcile payroll registers and resolve discrepancies Support payroll tax filings, audits, and month-end activities Partner with field teams and managers to ensure payroll accuracy
### What We're Looking For
4+ years of end-to-end payroll experience Experience with union payroll and collective bargaining agreements Multi-state payroll experience, including New York Strong payroll reconciliations and garnishment processing experience Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
### Nice to Have
JDE (JD Edwards) experience Construction, maintenance, transit, or union workforce experience Experience supporting quarter-end and year-end payroll activities

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
