Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator Job Description
The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization to manage end-to-end recruiting activities and support a positive candidate experience. This role serves as an integral partner in building strong candidate relationships and often provides candidates with their first impression of the organization. The position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, can shift priorities quickly, and is excited about helping to build a high-performing organization of talented individuals.
Responsibilities
- Schedule interviews and phone screens by working directly with candidates and hiring stakeholders, including arranging travel logistics for visiting candidates when needed.
- Update candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems to ensure accurate and current information, and support processes that confirm new hires.
- Provide timely follow-up correspondence to candidates regarding their recruiting status via phone and email, maintaining a professional and courteous tone.
- Track recruiting activities and prepare weekly reports that summarize candidate status, pipeline progress, and scheduling metrics.
- Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings, including organizing attendees and preparing debrief materials for hiring teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience and enhance scheduling efficiency, offering suggestions and implementing process improvements where appropriate.
- Assist in the coordination of additional recruiting activities as needed, such as event support, communications, and administrative tasks related to recruitment operations.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a coordination-focused role.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and presentation support.
- Bachelors degree.
- Strong scheduling and calendar management skills, with the ability to handle multiple interviews and meetings simultaneously.
- Solid administrative and coordination capabilities, including managing records, documentation, and logistics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry, precise scheduling, and thorough follow-up.

Work Environment

You will work closely with recruiters, hiring stakeholders, and candidates, primarily using standard office productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with recruiting and scheduling systems. The environment involves frequent schedule changes, tight timelines, and the need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, making strong organization and adaptability essential. Work is typically performed in a professional office setting, with a focus on clear communication, attention to detail, and a polished, business-appropriate appearance.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
