You will be the Project Engineering Associate Manager for the Apache Fire Control (AFC) Depot Operations team. Our team is responsible for directing and integrating AFC repair operations, supporting Longbow Fire Control Radar sustainment, and ensuring high‑performance service for over 1,200 Apache aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading engineering projects, overseeing depot repair activities, and driving customer‑focused solutions.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Plan, organize, and control engineering projects and AFC repair operations.
* Coordinate with program directors, managers, and customers to align sustainment contracts.
* Supervise and develop staff, handling recruitment, training, performance assessments, and recognition.
* Develop and implement long‑term depot and sustainment strategies to grow the business.
* Manage integration of factory and off‑site operations, ensuring seamless logistics and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in military maintenance, field operations, deployment operations, depot operations, logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
* Experience working within a Public-Private Partnership involving a U.S. Government depot partnership arrangement.
* Demonstrated experience supporting Department of Defense logistics, depot operations, and Supply Chain Management activities in a post-production/sustainment environment.
* Demonstrated experience executing Sustainment and/or Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract requirements.
* Experience supporting U.S. Government and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
* Demonstrated technical experience supporting Army maintenance activities and/or military sustainment operations.
* Experience interfacing with senior-level management and government or military customers.
* Previous experience performing personnel management responsibilities, including performance reviews, hiring, employee development, and disciplinary actions.
* Previous experience with Government Property accountability, management, or custodial responsibilities.
* Demonstrated knowledge of DoD inventory control and warehouse management processes, including experience supporting government audits.
* Working knowledge of OSHA requirements applicable to depot, maintenance, warehouse, or industrial environments.
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Desired Skills
* 15 or more years of experience in military maintenance, field operations, deployment operations, depot operations, logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
* Knowledge of Army Materiel Command (AMC) logistics and supply systems, including STAMIS, CCSS, LMP, and the U.S. Army Supply System at NIT, AVIM, and Item Manager levels.
* Advanced knowledge of Army maintenance processes and international customer requirements.
* Experience serving as an organizational representative or spokesperson for significant depot operations, sustainment, or customer-related matters.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with U.S. Government, military, and international customers.
* Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities across a broad customer base.
* Experience developing and executing long-range operational goals, objectives, and sustainment strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complex or unusual operational, logistics, or sustainment problems.
* Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors or equivalent leadership experience.
* Demonstrated record of sustained high performance in depot operations, logistics, sustainment, or Supply Chain Management.
* Strong initiative and ability to operate independently with limited supervision.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leaders and customers.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
