Job Title: Project/Program Manager (Non-IT) Job Description The primary role of a Project/Program Manager in this non-IT capacity is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in various fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, and other non-IT based projects. Responsibilities

- Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign tasks, direct, and evaluate their work while overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficiency in computer software including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
- PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, and program management.
- Proficient in MS Office 365.
- Master's degree is acceptable.
- Candidates with an associate degree and 7+ years of experience will also be considered.
- Internships are accepted as job experience.
- Previous roles such as Buyer may provide a comparable experience for this role.

Work Environment This position is based in an office environment located in Peoria. The role involves collaborating with the Peoria Manager.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
