Plant Manager – Sumterville, FL
We are recruiting an experienced Plant Manager for a cement manufacturing operation in Sumterville, FL.
This is a senior site leadership role with responsibility for overall plant performance, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, environmental compliance, cost control and continuous improvement.
What Youll Do
- Lead all major plant operating functions
- Drive safe, reliable and efficient plant performance
- Develop plant operating goals and long-term improvement plans
- Manage production, maintenance and capital improvement priorities
- Monitor costs, productivity and plant performance
- Build and develop a strong plant leadership team
- Maintain effective relationships with employees, regulators, vendors and the local community
What Were Looking For
- 10+ years of cement or lime manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated plant leadership/management responsibility
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Business Administration or related field
- Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing, including crushing, grinding and pyroprocessing
- Working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams
