Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description
The Project Engineer will manage technology or integration projects, successfully delivering solutions to meet project goals. This role requires direct collaboration with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners, and demands a solid understanding of design approaches and industry technologies utilized in fulfillment and distribution center designs.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with external equipment vendors, customers, or partners.
- Apply a strong understanding of design approaches and industry technologies in fulfillment and distribution center designs.
- Lead construction management, project management, and vendor management efforts.
- Oversee engineering equipment installation, commissioning, and change orders.
Essential Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or in a related occupation.
- Direct management and responsibility for cumulative automation project budgets ranging from .5 million to 50 million.
- Proven technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects.
- Demonstrated design and/or implementation with integrated automation solutions, such as complex material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, and manufacturing lines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Highly proficient CAD skills; capable of independently developing an integrated automation layout.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ideal experience in 'TQ' or throughput qualification.
Work Environment
This role involves extensive travel, with up to 75% of the time spent at installation sites throughout the United States. Typically, team members travel on Monday mornings, remain at the site throughout the week, and return home on Friday afternoons. While rare, some may choose to stay over the weekend. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the company, travel to various states, and build a substantial internal network.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
