We’re looking for an Equipment Coordinator to support our Big Truck and Trackmobile orders for our Briggs Truck & Rail Team. This is a role for someone who enjoys staying organized, keeping a lot of moving pieces on track, and bringing people together to get the job done right.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As an Equipment Coordinator, you’ll be the glue that helps keep our equipment orders moving from placement through delivery, billing, and payment. You’ll work closely with teams across our company along with outside dealers to make sure everyone has the information they need and every order keeps moving forward.
What You’ll Do
- Own and coordinate equipment orders throughout the full lifecycle—from purchase order and vendor ordering through make-ready, delivery, invoicing, and payment—while maintaining accurate inventory and order information.
- Partner with sales teams, branch coordinators, service teams, vendors, and outside equipment dealers to confirm order details, coordinate deliveries, and resolve issues along the way.
- Manage a high volume of active orders and priorities while supporting National Account deliveries, equipment moving across dealer territories, reporting, invoicing, and other team needs.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong organization, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of orders at different stages without losing sight of the details.
- A sense of urgency and ownership, along with the ability to prioritize deadlines, solve problems, and work independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Confidence building strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors, and dealers, with a team-first approach to getting things done.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP, POS, purchasing, or equipment-ordering systems is helpful.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- You’ll have a meaningful role connecting teams and helping equipment get where it needs to go—your work makes a visible difference every day.
- You’ll join a hardworking, supportive group that values safety, teamwork, integrity, and people who take ownership of their work.
- You’ll be part of a company that has been in business for more than 130 years, with a proud history and a focus on building an even stronger future together.
