The Assistant Director, Specialized Master’s Programs, oversees program resources to ensure alignment with the program’s mission and established priorities, timelines, and budgets. The role involves administrative, managerial, and professional responsibilities, including leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic plans that support institutional goals for the assigned program(s).
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic plans that advance program goals.
- Develops and updates training materials for staff, faculty, and external partners.
- Oversees all student programming, including off‑campus activities, special events, and networking opportunities.
- Plans and manages the program budget, including monthly projections and trend analysis.
- Manages all program logistics and operations, including program development.
- Oversees registration and advising processes.
- Maintains formal documentation and data reports related to accreditation, curriculum, and program quality, including graduation clearance.
- Advises students on academic development and achievement.
- Coordinates course offerings and program direction with faculty, department chairs, and deans.
- Supports faculty in designing and implementing assessment plans, methods, and evaluation tools.

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
- Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
