Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support and care to clients in the Fowlerville, MI area. This role involves assisting individuals with their daily living activities to promote independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements

- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors

- Follow care plans and adhere to safety and health protocols

Requirements

- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus

- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy

- Reliable, trustworthy, and patient with a strong work ethic

- Ability to pass background checks

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred
