Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

- Monitor clients health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

- Assist with medication reminders and basic health care tasks as directed.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.

- Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members and clients' families.

Requirements

- Previous experience in personal support or caregiving is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable, compassionate, and patient.

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred.

- Ability to pass background checks.
