About this role
Assist in ensuring that all material shipments and receipts are made and inspected in accordance with the specifications indicated in the process.
Responsibilities
- Verify that the required production is shipped on time and in the correct condition.
- Follow up on all material shipment processes.
- Report inventory discrepancies on finished product and receipts, analyze root cause, and take corrective action.
- Pack finished product into boxes, consolidate shipping material and load trucks.
- Resolve customer service issues (tracking number, quantities, damages, routing, etc.).
- Resolve raw material receipt problems.
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through a cycle counting system.
- Work in conjunction with warehouse personnel in Hidalgo Texas.
- Perform raw material adjustments from CONSIGN area.
- Perform assigned day to day tasks, according to the needs of the department and those stipulated by your immediate boss according to the guidelines of the company AMETEK.
Experience
- High school (preferably).
- 1 year of experience in similar position or in manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of computer packages (Microsoft office).
- Basic English (preferably).
- Forklift operation.
- Knowledge in inventory control.
