Facilities Project Manager / Space Planner (6856)

As a Facilities Project Manager / Space Planner , you’ll support the planning, coordination, and execution of facility and construction projects ranging from small workspace and furniture requirements to larger efforts such as space planning, office renovations, and secure facility construction.

What you’ll do:

- Manage multiple projects.

- Proactively provide status updates to stakeholders.

- Meet with stakeholders to define requirements, review drawings and space plans, develop SOWs and project schedules.

- Coordinate procurement documents and vendors.

- Troubleshoot issues to keep projects moving.

- Independently manage multiple projects at once while working closely with government and contractor partners.

- Proactively keep senior leaders informed of progress, risks, and next steps.

What you’ll need to succeed:

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in facilities management, construction project management, project/program management, architecture, engineering, space planning, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an additional 4+ years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.

- Active Secret security clearance.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.

- Experience developing project plans, schedules, Statements of Work, or similar project documentation.

- Ability to read and understand architectural, engineering, construction, or facility drawings and plans.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, including the ability to navigate, interpret, and make minor changes to drawings.

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project.

- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder coordination skills, including the ability to brief project information to senior leadership.

- Ability to work full-time onsite at the Pentagon, Monday through Friday, with approximately 10–20% travel within the National Capital Region.

- Ability to perform work in varied facility environments, including walking, climbing stairs, using ladders, and accessing confined or awkward workspaces.

SALARY RANGE: $125,000 - $135,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience

- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs

- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation

- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:

- Performance-based bonuses

- Company-paid training and/or certifications

- Referral bonuses
