Maintenance Manager

Position Summary A leading residential property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in building maintenance, plumbing systems, and team leadership. This position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a multifamily residential community, ensuring the proper functionality of facilities, resident satisfaction, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Community Director and will have the opportunity to lead a technical team while contributing to the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the property. Responsibilities Inspect, install, and repair plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, leaks, and blockages. Supervise and support the maintenance team in preparing vacant units for new residents. Diagnose and resolve service requests related to HVAC systems, electrical work, drywall, appliances, and general carpentry. Maintain community amenities, including the swimming pool and hot tub, ensuring they remain safe and fully operational. Conduct daily inspections of buildings, common areas, and grounds to uphold high standards of safety and cleanliness. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance projects. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, and team members. Manage multiple priorities and ensure the timely completion of tasks. Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience 3–5 years of hands-on experience in property, facility, or residential building maintenance. Previous experience supervising maintenance staff or operational teams. Technical Knowledge Extensive knowledge of plumbing repair and fixture maintenance. Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Ability to efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
