BrightStar Care of Honolulu is hiring compassionate, dependable Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs who are interested in building a consistent, high-hour weekly schedule.

This opportunity is especially well suited for caregivers looking for approximately 30-40 hours per week who have broad availability and want consistent weekly work.

Our caregivers provide one-on-one care in clients' homes throughout Oahu. Caregivers with strong availability and reliability are prioritized for recurring client assignments, new client starts, longer shifts, and additional available hours.

Weekly hours vary based on client needs, caregiver availability, and case assignments and are not guaranteed.

Who We're Looking For

This opening is especially suited for caregivers who:

- Want approximately 30-40 hours per week

- Have broad availability across at least 5 days per week

- Are open to working with more than one client to build a fuller schedule

- Are open to longer shifts when available

- Have reliable transportation to client homes

- Are dependable and take scheduled commitments seriously

- Want consistent caregiving work and the opportunity to build a fuller schedule

The more flexibility you have with days, hours, and service areas, the more opportunities we may be able to match you with.

What You'll Do

You will work one-on-one with clients in their homes and help them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.

Responsibilities may include:

- Personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Mobility assistance and safe transfers

- Meal preparation and light housekeeping

- Companionship and meaningful engagement

- Medication reminders and basic health monitoring

- Accompanying clients to appointments and errands

- Following each client's individualized plan of care

- Communicating with families, nurses, and our care team

No Experience? We'll Train You.

You do not need years of caregiving experience to get started.

We offer free pre-hire training to help the right candidates build the skills and confidence needed to provide excellent care. If you are compassionate, dependable, professional, and serious about caring for others, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

- Compassionate, reliable, and professional

- Completion of a nurse aide training program or equivalent, or willingness to complete our pre-hire training

- Reliable transportation

- Able to pass required background check and drug screening

- Physically able to safely assist clients with transfers and mobility

CNA certification, a valid Hawaii driver's license, and experience in home care, assisted living, hospice, or dementia care are preferred.
