In this role, you will support overall production and manufacturing operations by operating sit-down forklifts, handling raw materials, and conducting quality checks.
Key Responsibilities Forklift & Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts to load and transport raw materials, staging them for production lines and machinery. Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and specifications. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow supervisor instructions. Team Collaboration: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and work closely with team members to meet daily production targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications Measurement Mastery: Detailed, practical understanding of both standard (inches/fractions) and metric measurement systems. Proven Track Record: Reliable work history in manufacturing, production, carpentry, or related hands-on fields. Forklift Experience: Hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts in an industrial setting. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move with ease for the entire duration of the shift, and lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly and safely. Attention to Detail: High precision when measuring, operating machinery, and inspecting for product defects. Soft Skills: Highly accountable, a strong team player, and able to follow complex instructions in a fast-paced environment.
