Position Overview
PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join a growing team. Working under general supervision, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting physical cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and keeping system quantities up to date.

Key Responsibilities
Cycle Counting & Auditing: Perform routine physical cycle counts per schedule; verify accuracy by comparing physical inventory to computer quantities.
Variance Research & Adjustments: Investigate inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system records, making necessary adjustments and system corrections.
Data & Documentation: Compile data from shipping/receiving documents, requisitions, contracts, and accounting reports.
SKU Management: Assign new SKU numbers, maintain proper SKU logic, and update or delete dropped/changed SKU files in the system.
Reporting: Generate and review inventory reports for management, actively following up on negative on-hand balances and out-of-stock items.
Safety Compliance: Observe all safety procedures and practices, attend safety meetings, and suggest improvements to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical & Operational Skills:
System Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Inventory Management software.
Data Entry: Fast and accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
Inventory Knowledge: Working knowledge of material acquisition, warehouse, and inventory control processes.
Math & Problem-Solving: Basic mathematical ability and strong analytical skills to research and resolve variances.
Communication & Core Capabilities:
Ability to write clear, concise reports and communicate effectively with team members and management.
Strong problem-solving ability to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram forms.
Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently under general supervision.
