Just imagine shaping the partnerships, alliances, and coalitions that help create lasting opportunities for children around the world. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you'll shape partnership strategy, guide portfolio decisions, and steward some of the most important external relationships, including the LEGO Foundation partnership. You'll oversee a global portfolio of NGO partnerships, coalition memberships, alliances, and foundation relationships while leading a small team and working closely with senior leaders to strengthen impact, influence, and effectiveness across the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
• Led strategic partnerships, alliances, external affairs, philanthropy, or social impact portfolios at regional or global scale.
• Managed complex senior-level relationships across organisations, sectors, or geographies.
• Built partnership governance frameworks and portfolio management approaches that informed strategic decisions.
• Developed and coached teams through clear priorities, performance management, and professional growth.
• Delivered executive briefings, strategic communications, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Assessed partnership performance, investment decisions, and portfolio effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative evidence.
Preferred Qualifications
• Worked with UN agencies, international NGOs, foundations, coalition platforms, or multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Supported executive participation in high-profile external forums and stakeholder engagements.
• Led alliance management across complex partnership ecosystems.
• Combined experience across corporate, philanthropic, development, or social impact environments.
What you'll build
• A clear and future-focused partnership strategy that creates long-term value and impact.
• A high-performing portfolio aligned to organisational priorities and meaningful outcomes for children and communities.
• Strong executive relationships across priority NGO, foundation, coalition, and alliance partners.
• Effective governance, decision-making processes, and ways of working across the partnership ecosystem.
• A productive and strategically aligned relationship with the LEGO Foundation.
If you've worked in a role where you balanced partnership impact, stakeholder priorities, investment decisions, and organisational goals, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to make thoughtful choices, build trusted relationships, and turn strategy into action.
Life on the team
You'll join a team focused on helping social impact efforts create greater value and reach. We work collaboratively across functions and through a hybrid rhythm that brings people together to solve complex challenges. Change agility, critical thinking, design thinking, storytelling, stakeholder relationship management, social engagement, business acumen, and collaboration are important parts of how the team works and learns together.
What success looks like
Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll strengthen partnership governance, refine portfolio choices, and identify new opportunities for collaboration, learning, and influence. You'll work closely with the Senior Director, VP Social Impact, colleagues across Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Communications, Public Affairs, regional teams, and senior external partners to advance meaningful outcomes for children and communities.
