Job Title : Manager, System Engineer

Role Overview:

Act as lead engineer for mechanical sub systems and technical documentation

On a typical day you will:

- Design and integration of elevator electrical subsystems, understanding control system requirements, motor & VF drive interfaces, electrical codes & application software fundamentals. Developing concepts of electrical sub-systems, review and create electrical component & sub-system design requirements.
- Design of wire harness and manage the interface between various elevator components through electrification and signaling. Preparation of Bill of Material of elevator Control system for various ratings. Identify cost reduction opportunities and innovative ideas in electrical subsystems with alternative design solutions to reduce the product cost. Selection and sizing key electrical components for the electrical sub-system designs, such as relays, safety sensors, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and protection systems for both control and power circuits

What You Will Need to be Successful:

- BE/B.Tech/M. Tech in Electrical or Electronics

- 10+ Years Electrical technical experience in Elevator industry and high-rise elevators.

- Strong knowledge in Control panel design, Electrical architecture/circuit design,

- Experience in Wiring diagrams, Wiring harness, Software logic and Reliability testing.

- Knowledge of Elevator installation, commissioning and testing.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and E3.

- Experience in value engineering and execution.

- BOM generation for Elevator Electrical subsystems.

- Preparation of detailed documents and layout for electrical design & new developments as per customer requirement.

- Design of Electrical schematics and Electrical circuit drawings as per the standard.

- Proficiency in IS, IEC and EN codes.

- Identification of suitable and latest electrical components as per project/tender requirements.

- Design and integration of Elevator / Escalator electrical subsystems, understanding control system requirements, motor & VF drive interfaces, electrical codes & application software fundamentals.

- Developing concepts of electrical sub-system, review and create electrical component & sub-system design requirements.

- Selection and sizing of key electrical components for the electrical sub-system designs, such as: relays, safety sensors, circuit breakers, switches, transformers, protection systems for both control and power circuits.

- Assisting software developers for new implements and improving the software based on site feedback and issues.

- Providing the technical support to site team for elevator testing, commissioning and trouble shooting. Visiting sites to solve complicated problems and analyze issues and find the proper and permanent solution.

- Knowledge in EMI/EMC qualification and compliance.

- Experience in people management.

- Experience in working with cross functional teams for product development including vendors.
