Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Violations & Testing Coordinator.

On a typical day you will:

- Track, investigate, assign, and drive resolution of DOB and OATH/ECB elevator violations and deficiencies.
- Monitor correction, reinspection, hearing, and filing deadlines to support timely compliance.
- Coordinate corrective actions with field operations, contractors, consultants, account managers, customers, and building management.
- Process and support Affirmations/Certificates of Correction (AOCs/COCs), including required documentation and filings through DOB NOW: Safety.
- Review violations and deficiencies to determine responsibility, including customer/building and billable items, fines, and civil penalties.
- Maintain accurate records, supporting documentation, and status updates in applicable compliance systems.
- Communicate violation status, required actions, and outstanding items to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of violation-clearing processes, standard work, and compliance controls.

What you will need to be successful

- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
- High School degree or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working with the Department of Buildings preferred
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are essential; prior elevator-industry experience is not required.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $90,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
