Expert Site Security Systems (all genders), Monheim

You are the central technical expert for security systems at Bayer’s Monheim site—supporting the full lifecycle from strategy and standards to modernization concepts. In a consultative and coordinating role, you help teams and leadership identify technical risks early and prepare well-founded investment decisions. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- You develop and implement the site-wide strategy for technical security systems
- As lifecycle process owner you are responsible for systems including fire detection (BMA), voice alarm (SAA), fire suppression (sprinkler & gas), smoke & heat extraction (RWA), fire hydrants, intrusion detection (EMA), video surveillance, access control, transmission systems, and safety & emergency lighting
- You create investment, modernization, and lifecycle concepts to support robust decision-making
- You define requirements, standards, and selection criteria for service providers, manufacturers, and technical partners in security technology
- You advise operating teams and specialist departments on all topics related to technical security systems
- You ensure the quality of preventive and corrective maintenance services and documentation, including complete and up-to-date technical documentation
- You contribute to site development projects and new-build initiatives and support authority acceptances, audits, and technical inspections
- Another key focus is the evaluation of new technologies and digitalization solutions, as well as the development of recommendations for optimizing security, system availability, and cost efficiency

WHO YOU ARE

- You hold a degree in security engineering or electrical engineering, or you have completed vocational training combined with relevant professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of electronic security and alarm systems distinguish you
- You stand out with strong know-how from technical projects in areas such as fire detection systems and plant warning systems
- You demonstrate the ability to collaborate successfully in a matrix organization
- You convince with a clear and effective communication style
- You bring a good understanding of technical and commercial business processes as well as negotiation skills
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, as well as very good English language skills complete your profile
