ROLE SUMMARY
The Financial Reporting Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate financial consolidation, regulatory compliance, and effective spend governance. The role focuses on reviewing and validating key financial data, supporting statutory reporting requirements, and maintaining alignment between financial records and tax regulations. It also plays a critical role in strengthening financial oversight and ensuring the integrity of submissions to group and external stakeholders.

ROLE PROFILE

- Perform accurate and timely consolidation and submission of group reporting packages through platforms such as Hyperion.
- Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, variances, and compliance with group reporting requirements.
- Support statutory reporting and external audits by preparing financial statements, schedules, and required documentation.
- Address audit queries promptly and ensure alignment between management accounts and statutory financials.
- Review payroll movements and validate accruals, supporting documentation, and proper period recognition.
- Oversee PO review and spend control, while ensuring proper fixed asset capitalization, additions, verification, and documentation.
- Oversee VAT, WHT, CIT, and related tax analytics, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Coordinate with Tax, Audit, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies, implement recommendations, and maintain accurate financial records with minimal adjustments.

REQUIREMENTS

- 5-7 years’ experience in similar role in multinational organization
- Experience working in the GL function of a Finance Department
- Experience of working on SAP
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce
