About the Role
The Software Engineer will join the Product Integration team in Jaguariúna, Brazil, supporting product integration activities for Motorola devices across global markets. The role combines software engineering, product integration, technical troubleshooting, and manufacturing support, working closely with cross-functional and global teams throughout the product lifecycle.
The position will also contribute to initiatives involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), supporting the development and integration of innovative solutions that improve engineering processes, products, and user experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Support product integration activities throughout development, validation, manufacturing, carrier deployment, and post-launch phases.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software, hardware/software interface, manufacturing, carrier, and field issues, collaborating with technical teams to drive resolution.
- Support Change Control Board (CCB) and technical triage activities, helping assess Change Requests (CRs), priorities, risks, and product impact.
- Support carrier testing, regional certification, regulatory requirements, and technical validation activities for global product launches.
- Monitor and analyze product quality indicators and post-launch feedback to identify issues and contribute to continuous product improvement.
- Contribute to the development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled software solutions and engineering automation initiatives.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to investigate technical issues, analyze information, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify solutions.
- Advanced English communication skills for interaction with global teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and learning agility.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Jaguariúna, São Paulo.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of mobile device architecture, embedded software systems, or hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with mobile telecommunications, carrier testing, product integration, or device certification processes.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), or Artificial Intelligence application development.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) concepts and practices.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment environments.
- Exposure to software debugging, automation, data analysis, or technical troubleshooting in engineering environments.
