POSITION: Associate Engineer – Mechanical Design

What You will Do:

· Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements.

· Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications.

· Conduct feasibility studies, trade studies, and prototyping activities.

· Analyze and evaluate designs for strength, durability, and performance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.

· Support production, testing, and validation of prototypes and final products.

· Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.

What You Will Bring:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· Good knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.

· Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX (UG), or ProE.

· Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay Range: $65000 - $69000

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, CT and can be considered hybrid after the initial onboarding period.

- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
