Actively looking to hire a FP&A Manager in the Boca Raton, FL area! This role is 5 days a week onsite! Job Description The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead key financial planning activities and serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional leaders across the organization. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, scenario planning, and monthly financial performance analysis. The successful candidate will translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insights that support strategic decision-making and drive organizational growth. Responsibilities
- Lead and support portions of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models that support strategic decision-making, including inventory, operational, and three-statement financial models.
- Prepare detailed monthly variance analyses comparing actual results against budget, forecast, prior year performance, and key business drivers.
- Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong alignment between actual results and forecast expectations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand business trends, spending patterns, and operational initiatives, and incorporate these into financial plans and forecasts.
- Support executive management reporting, including preparation of materials for leadership reviews, board presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and data integrity across the organization.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analyses and special projects that support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to manufacturing cost analysis and other operational finance activities within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment.
- Demonstrate strong executive presence when presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or related finance functions.
- Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience owning or supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Strong variance analysis experience, including Actual vs. Budget, Forecast, Prior Year, and operational driver analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Accounting and business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecast alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth organization and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting executive leadership presentations, board materials, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Manufacturing cost analysis experience in a corporate or operational finance context.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
- Manufacturing industry experience, particularly within regulated environments.
- Biopharmaceutical or broader life sciences industry experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, including experience with SAP ERP.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.
- Experience supporting public company reporting and executive-level financial presentations.
- Familiarity with three-statement financial modeling and complex corporate planning initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to build trusted relationships across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership.
- Executive presence and confidence in presenting to senior leadership and board-level audiences.
Work Environment This role is based onsite in Boca Raton, Florida, in a professional corporate office setting that supports a regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing business. The schedule follows standard business hours, Monday through Friday, providing a structured workweek with high visibility to senior leadership and finance executives. The environment is collaborative and mission-driven, with frequent interaction and close partnership with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership teams. The organization is rapidly growing and focused on improving the lives of immunodeficient patients, offering exposure to complex financial modeling, corporate planning initiatives, and enterprise-wide strategic decision-making. Travel is minimal and generally limited to business initiatives or leadership meetings as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.29 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
