Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role on the Quality team, supporting ISO 9001certified activities and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role works under the direction of the Quality Assurance leadership and collaborates closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams from the shop floor to executive level. The position focuses on planning, monitoring, measurement, analysis, and improvement methodologies to ensure products and processes consistently meet quality standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities
- Support the Quality team in maintaining and improving ISO 9001certified quality management system processes.
- Plan, monitor, measure, analyze, and improve manufacturing and quality processes to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
- Conduct and participate in quality audits to verify compliance with internal procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Perform quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and documentation of results.
- Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation and reports to support quality and manufacturing engineering activities.
- Collaborate frequently and directly with customers and suppliers to address quality-related issues, requirements, and improvements.
- Communicate effectively across the organization, from shop floor personnel to executive leadership, regarding quality performance and initiatives.
- Apply manufacturing engineering and process engineering principles to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
- Lead and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities to validate new or changed manufacturing processes.
- Support quality management system activities, including procedure development, process reviews, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with engineering and quality leadership to align quality objectives with overall business goals.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process engineering.
- Hands-on experience with quality management systems, preferably within an ISO 9001certified environment.
- Proficiency in conducting quality audits and applying quality control methods.
- Ability to perform and support PPAP activities in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating clear, accurate, and comprehensive quality and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles and their application in production environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Degree in an engineering-related field.

- Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
