Our Team: Our OTC Composites & Instruments Data team seeks to provide customers with transparency into OTC markets by generating market-reflective, Bloomberg proprietary quotes across currencies, interest rate derivatives, and credit default swaps. We are responsible for maintaining and enhancing Bloomberg composites based on market rates from more than 2,000 third party pricing sources. Bloomberg composite pricing is a foundational service and an integral part of many workflows for our clients including trade execution, asset valuation, risk management, back office operations, and benchmarking  What’s the Role? As a Team Leader, you will lead, empower, and develop a high-performing team of Data Engineers, Data Quality Engineers and financial data professionals responsible for delivering high-quality instruments and composite pricing across FX, IRD, and CDS markets globally. You will combine people leadership with hands-on involvement in the execution of our ambitious automation roadmap and the team’s day to day responsibilities. You will demonstrate strong market and technical knowledge across Composite pricing use cases, using your expertise to guide the team, solve complex data, modeling, and workflow challenges, and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of instrument and pricing source data models. You will establish and maintain consistent data management standards and best practices while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to modernize and scale our workflows in close collaboration with our Product and Engineering teams. You will champion automation, operational efficiency, and innovative approaches that improve the quality, timeliness, and scalability of our pricing products while enabling the team to focus on the highest-value work. You will partner with Market Specialists, Product, Engineering, and your global counterparts in Europe and Asia to understand client and market needs, shape product and data priorities, and identify opportunities to strengthen our offerings and create new business opportunities. We’ll trust you to: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of pricing experts, driving excellence in time-sensitive, high-quality data processing, time series data analysis, project management, and client support Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other partners to support client and market needs and develop and improve Bloomberg’s pricing offering across FX, IRD, and CDS market segments  Strengthen our instrument and pricing coverage by identifying gaps and uncovering opportunities to enhance our offerings Identify and champion opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, emerging technologies, and scalable solutions You’ll need to have: 3+ years of leadership experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of financial data or data engineering professionals Demonstrated knowledge of OTC pricing products and their supporting technical infrastructure Ability to shape and drive the broader OTC pricing data strategy, translating market, client, and business needs into a clear vision and actionable goals for the team while delivering outstanding service to internal and external clients  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business needs, advocate on behalf of your team, and collaborate effectively across functions Proven ability to establish credibility and build influential relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and partners Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with a creative and flexible approach to solving complex data, modeling, and workflow challenges Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, complex projects, and time-sensitive deliverables Track record of developing and executing strategies, leading sophisticated projects, and successfully influencing or managing operational and organizational change Advanced working knowledge of technologies and tools such as Python, GitHub, data lakes, distributed SQL query engines, and data visualization tools Ability to identify and leverage technology, automation, and emerging tools to improve data quality, workflow scalability, and operational efficiency Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development We’d love to see: Deep knowledge of best practices in the production of high velocity composite pricing  Expert-level knowledge of data processing paradigms and associated tools and technologies Advanced STEM degree   Salary Range = 135,000 - 230,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
