Role Overview

The Wealth Management Investments Governance team ensures appropriate oversight of Wealth Management (WM)’s investment products, trade practices, and fiduciary obligations . We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate/VP to support governance processes, committee operations, and strategic initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between WM Investments Governance and key business and functional partners, while driving enhancements to oversight frameworks and ensuring seamless execution of committee activities.

Job Responsibilities

- Identify and support enhancements to investment, trade practice, and fiduciary governance oversight processes and frameworks
- Coordinate and execute investment, trade practice, and fiduciary governance oversight committee meetings – including agenda development, material collection and review, logistics management, and driving follow-ups
- Prepare and present high-quality materials to committees and senior stakeholders
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate tasks and processes
- Own, manage, and support projects (including, creation of new processes and frameworks) and ad-hoc requests requiring quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Help drive project execution, and ensure adherence to established frameworks and timelines
- Build and leverage broad expertise of the Wealth Management business
- Support requests from internal audit, controls testing, and external regulators
- Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate information flow between teams to drive alignment and collaboration – including other members of the Investments Governance team and various teams across WM Investment Solutions including Due Diligence, Risk, Compliance, Middle Office, and Controls
- Maintain documentation and reporting standards, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in governance, fiduciary oversight, program management, finance, or business management
- Agile team player with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and meet tight deadlines with cross-functional senior stakeholders
- Proactive, accountable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment with limited supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present clear and concise slide decks, meeting materials, minutes, and other documentation
- Prior experience creating high-quality, executive-level presentations with strong attention to detail and design excellence
- Ability to quickly adjust messages based on different audiences and agendas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – particularly to identify risks, improve processes, and develop innovative solutions
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder groups and driving collaborative outcomes
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Data and analytical experience (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) required. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau) preferred
- Knowledge of investment products, investment management, or governance frameworks preferred
