## What You'll Be Doing
Champion a strong safety-first culture across the manufacturing facility Lead employee safety training programs and safety committee initiatives Investigate incidents, near misses, and corrective actions to prevent future occurrences Conduct plant audits, inspections, and risk assessments Manage environmental compliance programs, permits, reporting, and hazardous waste activities Support industrial hygiene initiatives including chemical exposure assessments and employee health risk evaluations Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM), hazard reviews, and management of change activities Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to continuously improve EH&S performance
## What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, EHS, or a related field Experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food manufacturing, or a similar regulated environment preferred Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, or process safety programs Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization Passion for safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $57.69/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
