Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Fully Remote | Patient-Focused Telehealth Looking for a remote opportunity where you can continue making a difference in patients' lives from home? We're seeking compassionate, tech-savvy Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join a rapidly growing telehealth program. In this role, you'll be the first point of support for patients as they navigate at-home health monitoring, providing guidance, education, and exceptional customer care. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CMAs who enjoy patient interaction, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want the flexibility of working remotely while continuing to utilize their clinical skills.

What You'll Do

Support patients through a virtual healthcare program Handle high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy Guide patients through at-home testing and monitoring equipment Collect and document patient vital signs accurately Identify out-of-range vitals and escalate concerns appropriately Utilize EMR and telehealth platforms to maintain accurate records Deliver an outstanding patient experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Active CMA certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, NRCMA, or NCCT
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience
- Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to recognize abnormal vital signs
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous telehealth or remote healthcare experience
- Experience with Athena or other EMR systems
- HIPPA Compliant workspace
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
