Then come and join our global team as Global Head of Data Privacy (f/m/d) for the Business Area Diagnostics (DX) of Siemens Healthineers. You will shape and lead a globally connected data privacy function, driving meaningful impact across an international healthcare business while building and developing a small team of experts.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You define and drive the global Data Privacy strategy for Diagnostics, enabling business growth, digital transformation, AI innovation, and responsible data use worldwide.
- You build and continuously evolve a scalable, risk-based privacy organization and governance framework across regions, functions, and business lines.
- You lead, coach, and develop a small globally distributed team, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and continuous growth.
- You serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, translating complex privacy requirements into pragmatic, business-enabling solutions.
- You drive privacy-by-design principles across AI, advanced analytics, cloud technologies, and product development, ensuring the ethical and responsible use of data.
- You oversee the global privacy management system, including policies, tools, controls, risk management, audits, incident response, performance metrics, and executive reporting.
- You partner closely with business, R&D, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Commercial teams to enable innovative business models and global data collaborations.
- You represent Siemens Healthineers DX in interactions with regulatory authorities, customers, and industry forums, shaping the dialogue on data privacy and emerging technologies.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a university degree in Law, Privacy, Information Technology Law, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field; additional privacy certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E or CIPM are highly desirable.
- You have several years of substantial hands-on experience in data privacy, data protection, compliance, legal or related regulatory leadership functions within healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, pharma or other highly regulated industries.
- You have successfully led global privacy programs, governance frameworks, and distributed expert organizations across multiple jurisdictions, preferably in a senior leadership role such as Global Head of Privacy, Group DPO, or equivalent.
- You possess deep expertise in GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, healthcare-related data privacy requirements, international data protection regulations, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
- You bring extensive experience in privacy risk management, incident response, audits, DPIAs, and regulatory interactions with supervisory authorities worldwide.
- You have strong knowledge of Privacy by Design principles and experience supporting data-driven products, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

- You are fluent in English and excel in navigating complex global stakeholder landscapes with confidence, credibility, and diplomacy.
