JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Division Corporate Parts Assistant serves as a key support resource for the Supply Division and field-based Supply Outside Sales team. This position helps drive operational efficiency, inventory management, vendor relations, data integrity, and customer support activities across all Van Keppel Supply locations. By maintaining accurate information, supporting inventory initiatives, and collaborating across departments, the Corporate Parts Assistant contributes directly to customer satisfaction, inventory performance, and overall departmental profitability
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with all facets of data entry and system administration activities.
- Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels, evaluating inventory turns, anticipating demand, and identifying replenishment needs.
- Coordinate and place large stock orders with approved Supply Division vendors.
- Assist with vendor returns, CWI returns, PSR administration, and PPR administration.
- Maintain and correct inventory and product data within eXtend and other operating systems.
- Assist with GoldMine (CRM) data entry and maintenance.
- Prepare and manage reporting related to freight recovery, freight loss, and freight gain performance.
- Help identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory turns and inventory management processes.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide exceptional service.
- Partner with Supply Division locations to support operational consistency and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and refine procedures that support inventory performance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and support departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) established by leadership.
- Demonstrate flexibility and openness to organizational change while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization while demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply parts, construction equipment parts, industrial parts, or a related industry.
- Minimum three (3) years of inventory management experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of customer service experience.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required company driving qualifications.
PREFERRED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting multiple locations or divisions.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Experience utilizing CRM and inventory management systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, kneel, and squat throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to safely handle inventory, parts, packages, and related materials.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computers, and mobile communication devices.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders or step stools to access inventory.
- Ability to safely use a box knife and other common warehouse tools.
- Ability to operate company vehicles when required.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
