Configuration Engineer: Description The Configuration Engineer works in partnership with the Business Configuration Analysts to deliver the solutions designed by the Solution Architect. They are a more technical resource involved in the aspects of the configuration that are at the Environment layer (Infrastructure), require scripting or would require the system to come down to apply the changes. Additionally, they may build new API endpoints or perform data mapping for file integrations or Migrations. Primary Responsibilities
- Setup Initial Program instances and ensure program config is applied to any-and-all needed environments
- Ensure that the required environments are setup, functional, and enabled to support any-and-all needs to configure and validate the solutions
- Conduct and validate all configuration and program setup tasks that require direct database, infrastructure, and/or code interactions
- Conduct and validate all configuration and program setup tasks that require "power user" permissions in the Rhythmx configuration tool
- Support both projects and post-launch activities for programs for all activities described herein this role description
- Raise risks and blockers encountered in execution of assigned work
- Ensure necessary changes are appropriately applied across the various environments as needed, including Prod Technical Skills needed:
- Backend .NET / ASP.NET Core, an open-source web development framework | .NET Core Web API
- Entity Framework Core (data access/migrations)
- PostgreSQL (primary database)
- MongoDB (secondary, for specific features)
- Frontend Angular (TypeScript SPA)
- NgRx (state management)
- Auth Auth0
- Infrastructure Terraform (IaC)
- Docker (local dev & deployment)
- AWS ECS (container hosting)
