Lead Engineer
Job requirements
Experience Range: With at least 4 years of experience in Java fullstack development, including hands-on expertise in microservices architecture and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, Servlets, and OSGi services to deliver scalable content management solutions.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
- Integrate React.js applications and components with AEM and REST APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks to maintain high system reliability.
- Support deployments, releases, testing, and application maintenance, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold code quality and best practices. Required Skills:
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Components, Templates, HTL/Sightly
- Proficiency in Sling, OSGi, and JCR for AEM development
- Strong skills in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript for modern front-end development
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive UI design
- Experience integrating REST APIs with frontend and backend systems
- Version control using Git
- Build automation with Maven or npm/yarn Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Content & Experience Fragments in AEM
- Knowledge of Dispatcher, CDN, and caching fundamentals
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of security best practices in web and microservices development Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- Certification in Java programming or Spring Framework (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer, Spring Professional Certification)
- Certification in Adobe Experience Manager (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer)
