Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to join our Baptist Orthopedics - Clay office, located in Fleming Island, Florida.
The experienced candidate will perform clinical support such as rooming patients, preparing x-rays, and assisting the provider.
Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Provides medical assistance to physicians
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
