Partner with the best As a Field Specialist II, you will support manufacturing and operational activities by applying technical skills, machining knowledge, and engineering interpretation capabilities. In this role, you will work with technical documentation, machine controls, measurement systems, and operational procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of manufacturing and service-related activities. You will play an important role in maintaining quality standards, improving operational performance, and supporting safe and efficient business operations.
As a Field Specialist II, you will be responsible for:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to manufacturing and operational activities.
- Performing machining-related calculations involving speed, feed, coolant flow, depth of cut, and cutting angles.
- Setting and adjusting machine controls to support accurate manufacturing processes.
- Entering, retrieving, and editing computerized machine control information as required.
- Utilizing engineering documentation and operational procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
- Supporting manufacturing, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Maintaining compliance with Baker Hughes quality, operational, and HSE standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities.
- Working collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and operations teams.

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Have at least 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and operating procedures.
- Possess working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Have the ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric principles.
- Demonstrate knowledge of machining processes and machine setup requirements.
- Be comfortable working with computerized machine control systems.
- Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
