## Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist the GBU Ethics & Compliance Officer with investigations related to deviations from Bechtel’s standards of conduct. You will analyze documents and witness testimony, assist in handling allegations, and write report summaries. You will support managers with expertise and training to help ensure compliance with Bechtel’s Code of Conduct, policies, management instructions, and procedures.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-AA1
## Major Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Bechtel Case Management System to input, organize, and analyze case data. Ensure appropriate and consistent use of the database for recordkeeping and reporting
- Assists with data compiling monthly and quarterly reporting showcasing Ethics & Compliance (E&C) case volume, categories, trends for management updates using Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Assists the Ethics Investigators team with ethics and compliance investigations of suspected violations of the corporation’s ethical standards, compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policy issues presented for inquiry to a complete resolution
- Assists the Ethics and Compliance Officer with Conflict of Interest Disclosures reviews and determinations
- Assists with developing, coordinating, and presenting ethics and compliance training
- Assists with developing, testing, and publishing new compliance training courses
- Develops ethics and compliance communication materials for employees
- Responds to inquiries and issues guidance and clarification on ethics and compliance policies to employees and managers
- Assists with responding to internal and external agency audits related to ethics and compliance
- Assists in developing, updating, and providing guidance related to compliance policies and procedures, including the Bechtel Code of Conduct, Bechtel Anti-Corruption Guidelines, educational tools for managers, and other related policies and procedures
- Assists with revisions of policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
- Works to mitigate ethics and compliance risks and ensures policies and procedures are being followed
- Communicates with internal key stakeholders regarding Ethics & Compliance issues and initiatives
## Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
## Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret and present analytical results accurately, and make recommendations for action
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and analyze data and information gathered to support investigative findings
- Knowledge of and experience with the Microsoft Office suite and database management
- Must possess a valid passport and be prepared to travel on an ""as needed"" basis

- Proficiency advance language skills in Spanish preferred
- Previous work experience in roles in Ethics and Compliance, Legal, Contracts, Investigations, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Employee Relations preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels in the company
- Mastery of investigative methods to provide analytical and technical support for the planning and execution of an investigation
- Experience with Navex or similar systems or Bechtel Case Management System (BCMS) and using BCMS to create any requested report preferred
- Flexible team player willing to accept new challenges and assignments based on the needs of the department and the business
- Detail oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive material
- Must be highly credible and not afraid to express his or her opinions
- Demonstrated ability in time management and establishing priorities with limited supervision and exercise of sound judgment and discretion
- Proactive and independent worker, with ability to balance a large and complex case load under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
