Who are we hiring:
The Production Assistant is a temporary position supporting the Costume and Wardrobe department in preparation for and during the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. This role assists with costume prep logistics, fittings coordination, inventory tracking, and day-to-day administrative support across the pre-production build period and the beginning of the production season.
What You Will Do
- Transport costumes between storage, fitting spaces, and performance areas as needed.
- Support fittings, including scheduling coordination, preparation of costume pieces, and on-site assistance.
- Handle shopping and returns, maintain accurate receipt tracking, and reconcile purchases with the Costume team.
- Maintain costume inventory records and assist with tracking builds, alterations, and repairs.
- Take and distribute notes from fittings, production meetings, and wardrobe calls.
What do you need to succeed:
- Ability to demonstrate success in managing multiple tasks while under tight deadlines and financial constraints.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays in addition to working regular afternoon/evening shifts.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary.
- Must have the ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment.
- Experience in logistics in the live entertainment or sports environment or similar industry.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism when working in dressing rooms and other performer spaces.
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. without difficulty
- Must be flexible to schedule some shifts around the constantly changing production schedule, including nights and weekends
- Must be comfortable working in backstage environments with limited space, low lighting, and high activity levels.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel (basic formulas & formatting)

Hourly Pay Range $26 — $26 USD
