Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN Program Manager Teleneurology, you will assist in developing, enhancing, and managing the day-to-day operations of Teleneurology programs and services, serving as a vital liaison to internal and external partners. The primary responsibility is to support the comprehensive stroke program and ensure that the requirements of the DNV for a certified comprehensive stroke center are sucessfully met. Every day you will conduct project planning and implementation, establish and document proper policies and procedures, and train personnel on Teleneurology needs and requirements. You will also routinely interact with physicians, health professionals, and key stakeholders, representing the Neuroscience Service Line department at outreach events for promotion. To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with strong program management skills, expertise in Teleneurology operations, and the ability to effectively communicate, implement projects, and establish policies and procedures.
- Assist the Neuroscience Service Line Leadership with the prioritization of projects and the analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of teleneurology opportunities, budgeting, and report writing.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocols, surveys, and evaluations, and training and support related to the Teleneurology Program.
- Coordinate clinical efforts within the organization and at partner sites by exhibiting sensitivity to the needs and concerns of the clinical staff and assisting in the resolution of problems as well as identifying potential opportunities.
- Coordinate projects and quality improvement activities related to the Teleneurology program.
- Assist clinicians in developing and following teleneurology workflows.
- Serve as a teleneurology subject matter expert by maintaining current industry knowledge and best practices.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years related experience in healthcare settings, interacting with clinical and nonclinical health professionals
- Strong operational knowledge of hospitals, providers, delivery systems, and neurosciences clinical services
- Understanding of use of Neuroscience technology and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology systems
- RN License; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Current valid Driver's License
Preferred
- Minimum of three (2) years relevant Neuroscience experience and knowledge of Neuroscience programs, operations, and emerging trends
- Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business or related field
