Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Dermatology Technician, you will help our Dermatologists and MOHS surgeons provide high-quality clinical and surgical care so they can ensure optimal patient outcomes, safety, and comfort in our fast-paced ambulatory setting.
Every day, you will serve as the bridge between our clinical team and our patients, leading the flow of our practice to ensure a seamless experience from check-in to procedure recovery. You will be expected to perform a high level of technical surgical assistance, including preparing sterile fields,
assisting with complex MOHS and cosmetic procedures, managing medical photography, and ensuring diligent follow-up on pathology results.
What You’ll Do
- Clinical & Surgical Support: Prepare exam rooms, assist with biopsies and surgeries (retraction, suturing, and instrumentation), and manage the sterilization of surgical equipment.
- Patient Care: Room patients, obtain vitals, manage consent forms, provide pre- and post-op education, and perform suture removals.
- Medical Aesthetics & Laser: Assist in the laser suite and support cosmetic injections through patient preparation and topical anesthetic application.
- Pathology Management: Track, document, and communicate pathology results, ensuring no patient falls through the cracks regarding their diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain inventory, perform safety sweeps, manage prior authorizations, and provide cross-trained support for front-office duties.

Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
- 1-3 years At least 1 year of experience as a practicing medical assistant in a dermatology or MOHS clinic/setting , upon hire
- Medical Assistant Certification: WA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
