Child Welfare Specialist III H23C
Annual Salary: $43,968.62 + Full State Employee Benefits
Shift-diff pay is paid after standard hours.
Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.
On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.
Travel is OCCASIONAL. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master's degree;
- OR a Bachelors Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;
- OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
- Position serves with the Specialized Placements and Partnerships Unit safety team.
• Initiates and completes assessments of community-based residential treatment programs that have been reported to the Child Abuse & Neglect Hotline. This includes developing and following up on Corrective Action Plans.
• Processes investigations by the Office of Client Advocacy related to community-based residential treatment programs and follows the program through the safety planning process.
• Assists in ensuring the safety and quality of care for OKDHS custody youth who reside in contracted residential treatment programs.
• Conducts on-site visits to the residential facilities, maintains contact with administration of the facilities as well as with members of the Office of Client Advocacy and Oklahoma Child Care Licensing.
• Conducts quarterly reviews of all Qualified Residential Treatment Programs.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or leadership.opy from JAR
