Job Title: Administrative Assistant Job Description
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role manages documents, data, calendars, and communications, while supporting multiple departments with a variety of administrative tasks. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, and overall document management.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data within company systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate appointments for staff and teams.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other business documents with high attention to detail.
- Assist with recordkeeping, document tracking, and maintaining organized office files.
- Support various departments with administrative projects and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Maintain accurate information in all systems and documents, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide professional support for internal communications.
- Learn company processes, systems, and procedures in order to provide effective operational support.
- Provide front desk support as needed, including greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrated clerical and administrative support experience, including data entry, document management, filing, scanning, recordkeeping, and calendar management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records, process information, and identify discrepancies.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Comfort working at the front desk and handling phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Solid computer aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software and business systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative, clerical, customer service, or office roles is a plus.
- Comfortable learning new software, systems, and technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

Work Environment
This is an onsite position with working hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role is based in a professional office environment that is fast-paced and collaborative, with regular interaction across multiple departments, customers, and vendors. The Administrative Assistant uses standard office equipment and technology, including computers, phones, scanners, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). The setting supports learning and development, offering opportunities for growth and promotion within the organization, while maintaining a structured schedule and consistent daytime hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastlake, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
