Position Summary
Farmington Country Club is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician / Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The successful candidate must have experience working on electrical systems ranging from 480-volt distribution equipment down to 12-volt low-voltage systems. While this position will assist with a variety of facility maintenance activities as directed, the majority of the work is expected to be electrical in nature.
Primary Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems from 480V through 12V low-voltage applications
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and building systems
- Troubleshoot motors, lighting systems, controls, panels, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards
- Document work performed and communicate project status
Additional Duties
- Assist with plumbing repairs and maintenance as directed.
- Perform mechanical and HVAC-related maintenance tasks.
- Support preventative maintenance activities throughout the property.
- Participate in facility improvement projects and general maintenance work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification
- Verifiable experience
- Experience with electrical systems from 480V down to 12V low-voltage systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with plumbing, mechanical systems, and facilities maintenance preferred
