Finishing Team Leader

Our Team Leaders assist the Supervisor in maintaining an efficient and effective Department. They are responsible for assisting team members when needed and reporting any issues to the Supervisor and may also help with the setup of equipment or work facilities. This is an off-line Lead role.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the department supervisor with leading and directing associates through daily activities

- Assist with determining project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials according to blueprints, drawings and written or verbal instruction

- Assist with production scheduling

- Ensure paint quality consistently meets company standards

- Communicate and work closely with associates and Powder Manager

- Schedule work to meet customer demands

- Interact with associates and Powder Manager to define requirements

- Troubleshoot and solve problems within the Powder department

- Define, implement, and maintain best practices

- Train associates and ensure they conform to policy

- Assist in implementing progressive discipline procedures

Qualifications:

- Work Experience : 2 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment with powder coating experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.

- Education: High School Diploma

- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
