Water Spider

Our Water Spider Members assist the Operations Supervisor and Line Leader in supervising and maintaining an efficient and effective welding department. Water Spiders will be responsible for supporting our Welding Team Members when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in supporting Members.

- Operate manual and automated welding equipment.

- Examine weld for quality specifications.

- Repair improperly welded pieces.

- Communicate and work closely with all Members, Department Leads, Supervisors and Operations Managers.

- Troubleshoot and solve problems within the Welding department.

- Direct incoming materials and completed units.

- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Perform all other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Repetitive use of hands to operate machines

Qualifications:

- Work Experience : 2 years of welding experience

- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary

- Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday; will be required to lift between 50 to 75 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 90lbs occasionally; familiar with welding symbols.

Preferred Requirements:

- Work Experience : 3 years of welding experience in manufacturing environment, prior leadership experience

- Education: Technical Diploma in Welding
