- Collaborate and coordinate with global Forensic Technical Representatives (FTR), Technical Advisors, and CETS Division assets/personnel to provide guidance and integrate operations.
- Develop and execute long-range planning for expeditionary and laboratory-based technical research and forensic exploitation missions.
- Design and develop scalable, tailorable, and deployable Exploitation Team concepts to efficiently utilize C5ISR Center and FXD resources.
- Shape and develop expeditionary technical research and technical exploitation Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for incorporation into Joint Doctrine.
- Shape, collaborate, and develop expeditionary technical research and technical exploitation Standard operating procedures across CETS DIV and FXD.
- Develop and implement readiness metrics to report manning, equipping, and training status for FXD to inform CETS Division Leadership.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technical and WTI analysis of recovered Collected Exploitable Material (CEM) (CONUS and OCONUS), including IED/UxS components, energetic materials, electronics, containers, initiators, firing systems, and power sources.
- Oversee processes related to using photos, radiographic imaging, physical inspection, intelligence reporting, and other technical means to identify hazardous components and determine technical/tactical value.
- Oversee processes related to analysis of historical, current, and emerging improvised devices, including UxS-delivered hazards, RCIEDs, and commercial-based technologies (CBT), to identify trends, build signatures, and threat profiles.
- Produce technical assessments, device profiles, and exploitation reports for dissemination to U.S. and coalition forces on a need-to-know basis.
- Coordinate with analysts, engineers, and technical partners to develop joint technical products and laboratory procedures.
- Travel CONUS/OCONUS, including potential conflict areas, to support exploitation, information dissemination, and technical exchanges.
