Job Description

Just imagine a connected identity experience that works seamlessly for colleagues, partners, and future digital agents. The strategic drive for this is clear, but can you be part of shaping the details and making it real?

About the role

As our Staff Engineer - Identity, you'll own the cross-domain engineering of identity across the LEGO® digital ecosystem at the LEGO Group. You'll act as a bridge between the Principal Engineering community and the product teams delivering secure, compliant identity outcomes. This role gives you the opportunity to shape the end-to-end approach to colleague and partner identities, influence technical direction across multiple teams, and help ensure identity capabilities are ready for future challenges. You'll bring people together around a shared technology vision and help translate strategy into practical engineering outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Led cross-domain engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams, products, or technology domains.
- Delivered large-scale identity platforms, programs, or transformation initiatives.
- Engineered secure identity solutions with a strong focus on governance and compliance.
- Directed technical deliveries that required alignment across multiple engineering teams or domains.

Preferred Qualifications

- Applied data-driven approaches to support engineering decisions and prioritization.
- Worked across identity, platform, and architecture domains to shape broader technology outcomes.

What you'll build

- A clear and connected identity roadmap aligned across multiple product teams and security objectives.
- Strong relationships between engineering teams, stakeholders, and technical leaders.
- Future-ready approaches to colleague, partner, and emerging agent identities.
- Greater integration between identity services and improved alignment with organizational priorities.

If you've worked in a role where you guided technical direction across teams while delivering secure identity outcome at scale, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to influence technical leaders, connect complex initiatives, and turn strategy into meaningful engineering results.

Life on the team

You'll join Colleague Enablement within Digital Technology's Digital Platforms & Infrastructure organization. The team provides foundational platforms used by colleagues every day, creating opportunities to make a broad impact across the business. We work closely together through agile ways of working, regular stand-ups, and a flexible hybrid rhythm. Strategic thinking, critical thinking, design thinking, problem solving, change agility, storytelling, and constructive collaboration are all part of how we approach our work and support one another's growth.

We are an international team based at the vibrant LEGO® Campus in Billund. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible – and we have some fun along the road!

What success looks like

Success means creating alignment across identity teams, establishing a clear direction for future identity capabilities, and helping build a thriving community of identity professionals. You'll work closely with the Colleague Enablement Leadership Team, Principal Engineers, and identity teams across Digital Technology. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll help refine the integration of colleague and partner identities while supporting the organization’s broader technology and security ambitions.
