Provides support for EDI database analysis, design, and operations. Establishes and maintains communications within organization and with end-customers. Conducts and manages product evaluations. Provides design, development, testing, validation and close of end-customer and Marketing B2B requests for EDI and Punch-out integration. Performs systems maintenance to update records, specifications, and operating procedures of partner systems/customers. Maintains EDI account transaction activities. Works with I.S. Architecture team and System Development on integration with corporate Order Management systems and is responsible for the general administration of our Gentran application including working with Operations to ensure system updates and patches are applied. The role must be able to make balanced EDI decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- ​ ​Monitor & resolve problems related to daily EDI processes

- ​End Customers and Marketing for design and implementation of B2B customize systems

- ​Must be able to work Directly with Swagelok Distributors

- ​Primary responsibility is to setup new trading partners including, Design, Development, Testing, Validation and Close of customer transactions such as: PO, PO Ack, Ship Notice and Invoice

- ​Perform EDI, XML, CXML and EDIFACT mapping and registration functions within the Gentran tool

- ​Maintain documentation on EDI production systems (includes disaster recovery processing)

- ​Modify Gentran Server’s automated processing (Process Control) as needed.

- ​Work directly with end-customers and Swagelok distributors to resolve production issues.

- ​Registration and activation of new WebStore distributors/merchants (CyberSource and Paymentech)

- ​Maintain Merchant ID Certification Keys on the WebStore Servers.

- ​Assist development EDI team as needed.

- ​Work closely with Operations to ensure application updates and patches are applied to Gentran

- ​Have Basic Project Management Skills.

- ​Must apply “forward thinking” skills to his daily job activities.​

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science or comparable experience

- 1+ years of experience with Gentran Server NT and Gentran Application Integrator,

- 2+ years of experience with EDI.

- An understanding of X12 and EDIFACT transaction set methodology

- Knowledge of Windows O/S

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

Working conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

- Working conditions associated with normal office environment.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.).
- Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings.
- Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
