About this role

Job Description

Just imagine shaping digital agreements that turn technology ambitions into responsible business progress. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Corporate Counsel, you'll support the LEGO® Group’s global digital organisation and online retail business. This permanent role sits within Legal, Compliance and Risk Management. You'll focus on legal matters relating to information technology, digital services and artificial intelligence. You'll structure, draft, negotiate and approve commercial and procurement contracts, agreements, policies and other digital legal documents.

Required Qualifications

- Earned a master’s degree in law, or an equivalent legal qualification, preferably with a focus on business law.
- Negotiated information technology contracts in a law firm or in-house legal role.
- Drafted commercial, technology, licensing or digital agreements.
- Handled transactional legal work involving digitalisation, information technology or technology services.
- Applied artificial intelligence compliance requirements in a legal or commercial setting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Worked with technology-related legal matters in an international business setting.

What you'll build

- Legal agreements that support the organisation’s digital ambitions.
- Clear contractual positions for technology and digital procurement.
- Practical legal guidance for commercial and procurement decisions.
- Consistency across digital contracting and artificial intelligence compliance.
- A strong foundation for independently managing a significant share of digital contractual work.

If you've negotiated technology agreements and supported digital procurement, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to solve legal problems, negotiate effectively and translate complex requirements into workable agreements.

Life on the team

You'll join the Digital, eCommerce and Marketplaces legal team within the LEGO Group’s Legal, Compliance and Risk Management function. It’s a professional and ambitious team of capable legal colleagues. Everyone shares a commitment to providing practical legal support for continued commercial success. Regular team and specialist meetings help colleagues stay connected, exchange perspectives and solve problems together.

What success looks like

Within your first year, you'll have developed fluency across your areas of responsibility. You'll manage most matters independently and become an integral part of the wider legal team. Working closely with legal colleagues and procurement, you'll help oversee a substantial part of the organisation’s information technology and digital contractual work.
