Job Purpose

To ensure daily checking and offloading of bread and crates on site. To ensure the integrity of offloading is never compromised. To provide assistance that enables the offloading process to operate uninterrupted.

Key Responsibilities

The core functions define the key areas of responsibility for this role, reflecting the accountabilities and expected outputs outlined in the competency-based profile. These are the primary activities through which the role delivers value to the business.

- Check offloaded bread and trays according to relevant documentation
- Follow pipeline offloading sequence
- Attend daily Invocoms
- Ensure a correct stock rotation (FIFO)
- Report back on offloading related matters to Offloads Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures (SOP’s)

Experience and Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

- At least 1-2 years’ bakery industry experience in a similar position inan FMCG environment
- Grade 12 with numerical skills

Working Conditions

This role requires the incumbent to operate in the following environments and manage specific physical or operational demands:

- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
- Own transport required
