At BRP-Rotax, you will work on the next generation of intelligent vehicle control systems. From traditional engine control units and connected vehicle systems to future control architectures, you will develop software for highly complex mobility applications and contribute your expertise in areas such as cybersecurity, functional safety, and artificial intelligence.

Your new adventure

You will play an active role in shaping the future of control units and vehicle architectures in the powersports industry, experiencing your software's journey from the very first simulation tests to deployment in real-world products.

- Take responsibility for the development and testing of embedded software for Rotax powertrain control systems
- Develop highly integrated tools for automated software verification, including SiL, PiL, and static code analysis
- Contribute to the design of a multi-domain software architecture for the next generation of control units
- Help shape software development processes with regard to ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity
- Manage software development projects
- Contribute to the development and integration of AI-based applications

Your Experiences and Skills

- Successfully completed a degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge of embedded software development, including the design and implementation of associated development processes
- Experience with software development standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR is an advantage
- Knowledge of multi-domain control units is considered a plus
- Programming skills in C, C#, and Python
- Understanding of electrical and/or combustion engine powertrain technologies is an advantage
- Very good English skills and good German language skills
- Proactive personality with a passion for powersports and innovative mobility solutions

We offer

You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53,240.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
